The Holidays Aren’t Complete Without Ice Skating at The Boston Common Frog Pond
December 10, 2021If there is one activity that you must do in Boston over the winter months, it’s ice skating at The Boston Common Frog Pond! The rink was voted the "Best Outdoor Ice Skating Rink in the United States" by USA Today, and there’s no winter sport more fun and accessible than skating when it comes to city living. If you want to really perfect your skills, check out lessons. Otherwise, join the fun for open skating!
Tickets are $6 per person over 58 inches tall and free for the little ones. If you think you’re going to hit the ice a lot this winter, consider getting one of their season pass options that start at $150 for individuals or $250 for families. You can also just go for a punch card, which will save you $1 per skate. Worried about what you’ll do with your bag or shopping haul if you’re making a day of it? They offer lockers for $5 so you can leave your valuables safely and hit the ice without being weighed down by all your stuff. You need to be lighter to try those twirls, right?
